Tristan T. Kirkland

Tristan T. Kirkland, 21 of Bessemer City passed away on July 6, 2013 at his home. He was born June 27 1992 in Gaston County son of Rebecca Kirkland Anderson and the late Curtis Lee Mattox. A service to celebrate the life of Tristan will be held 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia , officiated by Rev. Gene Bates. The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In addition to his mother Tristan is survived by: sister, Victoria Anderson of the home; grandparents Arthur and Nina Kirkland of Bessemer City; great aunt, Mary "Polly" Foster of Crouse; uncle, Ben Kirkland of Bessemer City; special cousins, Katrina Ray of Bessemer City and Joey Earney of Gastonia, and several other cousins. In addition to his father Tristan was preceded in death by: great grandmother, Bessie Cody; aunt, Cynthia Forsyth; uncle, Larry Foster.
