Tracey Dawn Wells

"Her mansion was ready, and she moved from her earthly address to her Heavenly address today."

Tracey Dawn Wells, age 53, went to be with her Heavenly Father and her new home on Sunday, May 3, 2020 from her residence in Bessemer City, North Carolina.

She was born May 25, 1966, daughter of William and Rudene Wells of Bessemer City, North Carolina.

Tracey was a precious angel that God placed in our lives to see and learn the true beauty of life and the deeper meaning of love.  She was a graduate of Webb Street School in Gastonia, North Carolina. Tracey enjoyed eating at the Market Street Buffet and Bakery.  She also loved hamburgers from McDonalds and homemade spaghetti.  Her favorite drink was Sun Drop. Tracey also enjoyed sitting on the front porch at home and her favorite television show was The Bold and the Beautiful.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister and best friend, Amy Costner of Gastonia, North Carolina; two nieces, Rebekah Sutton and Jessica Costner; two great nieces, Kaelyn Scroggs and Everleigh Laye; one great nephew, Colton Melton; and an abundance of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First in Families, Lori Maddox, P.O. Box 550533, Gastonia, NC 28055.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Dennis Boyce, will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Gaston Memorial Park - 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Tracey will lie in state from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
