Tracey Lee Holmes

Tracey Lee Holmes, 59, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Richard Joseph Holmes, Sr., and Nancy Jane Scott Holmes.

Tracey was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC, where she loved serving the church and her church family. Tracey loved to bake and cook for family and friends. She has been a caregiver to many through the years. She loved to crochet blankets for babies.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Griffie; stepchildren, James R. Griffie, Jessie Griffie; step grandchildren, Cailey, and Jake Griffie; brothers, Richard Joseph Holmes II, Michael Scott Holmes; nieces, Kristen Renee Holmes, Kate Marie Holmes; nephews, Joseph Michael Holmes, Jake Holmes, Joshua Scott Holmes; many lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life Service officiated by Pastor David MacEachern will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia, NC. The service will also be live streamed on Facebook.
