Tracey Tallent Cabe

Tracey Tallent Cabe, 53, passed away peacefully on July 28,2026. She was the beloved wife of her best friend, Eric Cabe, with whom she shared 28 wonderful years of marriage. Her marriage to Eric was a beautiful example of friendship, partnership, and lasting love.

Born January 4, 1973, in Colorado. Tracey was the daughter of the late Kenneth Young, and was preceded in death by grandfather, Fred “Gigs” Young; and grandmother, Mary Ellen Young and her brother, Robert Young.

Tracey is survived by her devoted husband, Eric Cabe; her sons, Noah Tallent (Morgan) and Matt Tallent (Vanessa). Her grandchildren, Abigail Tallent, Garielle Smith, Kensley Ellis, Hunter Tallent, Silas Tallent, Henry Tallent, and Audrey Tallent were a source of immense joy and pride, she treasured every moment shared with them. She treasured her father-in-law, Ronnie Cabe; mother-in-law, Gail Cabe; brothers-in-law, Mike Cabe (Angela) and Jody Cabe; nephews and nieces who held a special place in her heart.

Tracey will be remembered for her love, devotion, and the special bond she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation to honor her memory will take place on the August 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, both at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church, 2128 Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, North Carolina.
