Tony Chad Walker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony "Chad" Walker, who left this world on December 28, 2024, at the age of 42. Chad was a resident of Gastonia, NC, where he filled his life with music, family, church, and laughter. Known for his incredible musical talents, he could play any instrument, though the piano held a special place in his heart.

Chad had a zest for life that shone through his love for family and friends. He was a fan of movies, with the classic "Friday" always bringing a smile to his face. Chad also adored scrolling through TikTok, sharing laughs and moments with everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving father, Keith Walker; sister, Heather Gilliam (Rodney); brothers, Jody Walker (Becky) and Justin Walker (Callie); sister-in-law, Stacy Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend and caregiver, Kellie Hagans, all who will cherish his memory forever.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Walker and brother, Chris Walker.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Chad's life. A visitation will take place at One Accord Independent Church, 115 Ridge St, Gastonia, NC, 28052, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Zach Plemmons. We will gather again for a graveside service at Gaston Memorial Park on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM, where Chad will be laid to rest.

Chad's spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Let's come together to honor a life full of passion, love, and music.
