Tony Lee Mason Sr.

Tony Lee Mason Sr., 69, of Iron Station, passed away on July 14, 2016, at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.

He was born May 11, 1947, in Catawba County, son of the late Mose Lee Mason and Thelma Ruth Sanford Mason.

Tony loved his family and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He retired from JP Stevens after 20 years of service.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Faith Baptist Church 5194 Old Plank Road, Iron Station, officiated by the Rev. Mike Scott

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Becky Lowe Mason; son, Tony Lee Mason Jr. and wife Debbie; daughter, Dana Justus and husband Jimmy; brother, Carroll Mason; ten grandchildren; six great – grandchildren; brother-in-law, Lester Lowe and wife Marie; sister-in-law, Patti Sue Griffin.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandmother, Ila Mae Sanford.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, 1410 E. Gaston Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
