Tony Ray Hooper, 70, of Dallas, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Lincoln Rehab.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on November 9, 1953, to the late Lewis and Myrtle Hooper.

Tony is survived by his siblings, Calvin Hooper and wife Judy, Carolyn Hamrick, and husband Ray, Kenny Hooper and wife Marie, Sherry Carpenter, and husband John; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Ron Duncan, will be held Monday, April 8, 2024, 12:00 noon, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
