Tommy Mccarter

Tommy McCarter, 74, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born September 27, 1947, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Samuel Bailey McCarter and Edna Virginia Adair.

Tommy was a member of Life of Faith Fellowship, Gastonia, NC.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 6 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Tommy is survived by his wife, of over 43 years, Peggy Horne McCarter; daughters, Amanda McCarter, and Tabitha Craft and T.J.; brothers, Bob McCarter, and Billy McCarter; sisters, Peggy Messick, and Jane Chapman; and grandchildren, Bailey Craft, Lillie McCarter, Cadance Craft, and Ella Craft.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Chris DiCiaccio, will be held 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Life of Faith Fellowship – 2854 Beaty Road, Gastonia, NC 28056.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vision Fund C/O Life of Faith Fellowship.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
