Tommie M. Greene Sr.

Tommie M. Greene Sr., 68, of Bessemer City, passed away on October 12, 2015, at his home. He was born August 25, 1947 in Gaston County, son of the late Frank Greene and EllaVee Marr Greene. Mr. Greene was a US Marine Corp veteran who served during the Vietnam War. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Kenny Lane. The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private. Mr. Greene is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Bradshaw Greene; daughter, Jennifer Greene and fiance', Chris Everhart; son, Tommie Greene Jr. and wife Teresa, Wayne Greene; sisters, Sheila Lane, Susie Kane; grandchildren, Tyler Ramsey, Chase and Colby Greene, Sarah Pickert, Ashly Hardin and husband Jake; great - granddaughter, Jenny Bell Hardin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
