Toma Marincus

Toma Marincus, 83, of Gastonia, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his residence.

Born on May 1, 1938, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, to the late Joseph and Catherina Marincus.

In Toma's early years, he lived in Somesu-Rece, Romania, then to Cluj-Napoca, Romania. After he left Cluj-Napoca, Toma moved to Chicago, IL before moving to Gastonia.

In addition to his parents, Toma is preceded in death by his first wife, Maria; and brother, Dumitru.

Left to cherish, Toma's memories are his loving wife, Georgeta; children, Toma, and Gino (Gosia); grandchildren, Kris (Abbie) and Gina (Voitek); great grandchildren, Gabriel, Toma, Nicola, Vito, Evelina Grace, and Milena Olivia; and siblings, Peter, Ana, Joseph, and Joan.

A graveside service, officiated by Marius Covaci, will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia.
