Todd Mitchell Newstrand, 50, of Bessemer City, passed away July 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1962 in St. Louis County, MN, son of Dennis Newstrand and Joyce Merit Lewicki. Mr. Newstrand is survived by: daughters, Christina and son in law Nick Halse of Clinton, SC, Melissa Newstrand of Florence, OR; granddaughter, Mackenzie Halse of Clinton, SC; grandson, Zane Halse of Clinton, SC; parents, Dennis and Carol Newstrand of Cass Lake, MN and Coolidge, AZ; parents, Joyce and Dave Lewicki of Houston, TX; siblings, Lynda and Frank Husted of Chamois, MO, Lori Otto of Houston, TX, Denise and Mark Michels of Belgrade, MN, Debra and Darren Millard of North Ampton, England, Nick and Debbie Navarro of Bellvue, NE, Kim Newstrand of Cass Lake, MN, Penny Schaff of Spring, TX; fiancé, Charline Dixon of Gastonia; future daughter in law and son in law, Jackie and Cody Stevens of Grover; 5 nieces and 10 nephews; multiple great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Rev. Gerald Ramsey. Interment is private.
