Tina Stalcup Staggs

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tina Stalcup Staggs, 85, who left this world on February 17, 2026. A cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Tina was a beloved member of the Siler Presbyterian Church in Weddington, NC, where she actively participated in the Presbyterian Women's group. Her unwavering faith and warm spirit served as a beacon of light to those around her.

Tina's greatest joy came from her family whom she loved dearly. She was a devoted family member who thrived on creating beautiful memories with her loved ones, treasuring every moment spent together. Tina had a passion for music, reading, and crafts, often immersing herself in her hobbies that brought joy and inspiration to her life and to the lives of those she touched.

Tina is survived by daughter, Jana Staggs; sister, Elaine Anthony; grandchildren, Shannon Jackson (Josh), Shane Bernard, Chris Staggs; great-grandchildren, Hunter Jackson, Hayden Jackson, Makayla Bernard, Peyton Bernard, Lucas Staggs; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Stalcup and Ella Barrett Stalcup; husband, Jim Staggs; son, Scott Staggs; daughter, Terie Bernard; brothers, Roger, Butch, Blaine and Jim Stalcup; sister, Gloria Williams.

Tina Staggs will be missed beyond words, but her spirit will endlessly resonate in our hearts.
