Timothy Earl Philbeck

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Earl Philbeck, who left us far too soon on August 22, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on August 12, 1964, in North Carolina, Tim was a beloved companion, brother, a devoted friend, and a passionate machinist who dedicated his career to the metal manufacturing industry.

Tim was a man of few words, but his love for family and friends spoke volumes. He had a special knack for working on lawnmowers and other small engines, always ready to lend a hand with his tools and expertise. He cherished the peaceful moments spent fishing-there wasn't a big catch that could top his joy on the water. Tim was also a hummingbird enthusiast, filling his home with feeders and enjoying the beauty of these delightful creatures.

Tim is survived by his best friend and companion, Cindy Johnson; siblings, Vickie Parton (David) and Gary Philbeck; many nieces and nephews who will surely miss his quiet presence and the warmth of his love.

A funeral service will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with visitation starting at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring Tim's memory and sharing stories of his life. We hope to see you there to celebrate a man who touched our lives in so many ways.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ladora Philbeck; siblings, Richard and Michael Philbeck, Lisa Evans; nephew, Richie Scruggs.
