Timothy James Gibson

Timothy James Gibson, 52, of Dallas, passed away August 31, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 25, 1965, a native of Gaston County, the son of Geraldine Ritch Gibson and the late James Crawford Gibson.
Everyone he met, he treated like family. He loved being among them. He was willing to help out anytime you called and would give you the shirt off his back. "It's a Gibson Thing!"
Left to cherish his memories along with his mother are his son, Christopher Gibson (Charley); brothers, Paul Edward Gibson (Pam), Jamie McCombs; sisters, Mechell Brown (Max), Tina Stallings (Steve), April McCombs; girlfriend, Kristy Buckingham and numerous nieces and nephews who looked up to him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Renee Gibson.
The family will receive friends 6 – 9 p.m. Sunday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will hold a memorial service 2 p.m. Monday at Harmony Baptist Church, 2009 Puetts Chapel Road, Bessemer City.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
