Timothy Dean

Timothy Earl Dean, 57, of Bessemer City, passed away May 5, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Gaston County, he was born May 9, 1960, son of the late Earl and Ruth Dean.

Mr. Dean greatly loved his grandchildren and was an avid Carp fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Susie McCosh and his brother, Eddie Lee "Dizzy" Dean.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Timothy Latham Dean and William Nance; daughters, Stacy Nelson and Ruth Dean; brothers, Roger "Pee Wee" Dean, Bill Dean, and Allen Dean; sister, Debra Williams, and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 pm Monday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Funeral services will be private.
