Thomas D. Smith

Thomas D. Smith, 36, passed away Saturday July 16, 2022, at Wendover Hospice in Shelby, NC.

He was born February 18, 1986, in Gaston County, to Eric Smith and Cheryl Ann Mason.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Webb Smith; son, Trey Smith; daughters, Bailey Smith, Caitlyn Smith; and sister, Patricia Rimmer.

Thomas is preceded in death by his brother, Eric McEntyre.

He loved music and hanging out with friends, he never met a stranger. He worked in maintenance at Duke Energy.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Larry Laws will be held at Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, 125 Mayberry Lane, Kings Mountain, NC, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 5:00 PM.

Visitation will follow the service.
