Thomas H. Farmer

Thomas H. "Tommy" Farmer, 78, of Gastonia, passed away October 15, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. He was born May 1, 1934 in York County, son of the late Thomas Pralo and Viola Deas Farmer. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:30 pm Sunday October 28, at Greene Funeral Service- South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. Services are private. Mr. Farmer was a native to York County, SC and Veteran of the Korean War. He was in the US Marine Corp, loved Nascar and loved his dog Boo. He is survived by: his wife for over 46 years, Shirley H. Farmer; daughter, Pam Farmer; brother, Dean Farmer; sisters, Helen Heffner, Lucille Stines, Dale Buchanan, Beverly McDonald, Audrey Griggs, Frances McCarthy; grandchildren, Wesley and Kristy Bradshaw. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his sisters, Martha Horner, Ricky Farmer. Memorials can be made to the Gaston County Heart Association, 1201 E.
