Thomas "Tommy" Edward Owens

Thomas "Tommy" Edward Owens, 80, of Clover, SC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 17th from the Robin Johnson Hospice House.

Thomas was known to his family and friends for his love of telling stories and jokes. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and creating new stories to tell. He served as a minister of the Gospel and loved to exhort, encourage, and witness to those around him.

Thomas was born on May 9th, 1943, to Mildred and Price.

He went on to join his wife of 63 years, Ann, and daughter, Tommie McDavid, in heaven.

Left to cherish his memories and stories are his daughters, Angela (husband Ken), and Nancy (husband Rick); siblings, Johnny, Ronald, Pat, and Brenda; brother-in-law, Joe Latimer; grandchildren, Ricky and Bradley Deal, Nathaniel McDavid, and Gabrielle Alva (husband Pablo), Hannah, Abigail, and Christian Newell; and great-grandson, Kamden Deal.

The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A graveside service officiated by Pastors Michael Goins and Brandon Cassell will be held 11:00am, Thursday, March 21, 2024, Lakeview Memory Gardens, York SC.
