Thomas "Tom" Beaver

Thomas E. Beaver, 80, of Smyrna, SC, on March 21, 2025, heard these words from God, "well done my good and faithful servant". He has left a big void in the hearts of many family and friends.

He was born in Cherokee County, NC, on June 9, 1944, to the late Mont and Madge Beaver.

Tom was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and faithful friend. He was a simple man, humble, hard worker, smart and faithful to the Lord. Tom was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC and currently a member of Union Baptist Church in Filbert, SC.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Beaver.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Billie Taylor; stepsons, Jeff Taylor (Debbie), Bryant Taylor; grandchildren, Jonathan Beaver, Josh Beaver, Maggie Beaver, Emma Hyde.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, at Union Baptist Church, 1945 Ratchford Road York, SC 29745.

A Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at his residence.
