Thomas Louis Allison

Thomas Louis Allison, 76, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born July 13, 1941, in White County, GA, son of the late Mood Benjamin Allison and Lucy Freeman Allison.
Thomas attended First Baptist Church of Gastonia. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech in 1964 with a Textile Engineering Degree. Upon graduating, he took a job with Talon Inc. in Meadville, PA. in the engineering division. Thomas joined the US Army Reserve Unit and served six years. Thomas's wife, Faith, is a native of Meadville and both of his children were born there. In 1982, Talon relocated the engineering division to the Stanley Plant, and his family moved to Gastonia. He retired in January of 2001 with 37 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Clark Ewing Allison.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 53 years, Faith Patterson Allison; daughter, Susan Allison; and sisters, Betty Skinner and Barbara Price and husband, Robert.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
