Thelma Jean Trimnal

Thelma Jean Trimnal, 71, of Gastonia passed away February 26, 2013 at her home. She was born September 9, 1941 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Walter Glenn and Katherine McLween Lay. A memorial service will be held 11 am on Friday at Union Road Church of God in Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Lane Lavender. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment will be private. She was a loving wife, mother and endured her illness without complaining and trusting in God to the end. The family wishes to express their thanks to the hospice caregivers for their kind and compassionate care. She was a member of Union Road Church of God. She is survived by: her husband of 54 years, Bobby E. Trimnal; sons, Ronnie and Keith Trimnal; daughters, Tammy Norris and Katherine Swanson; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her daughter, Robin Renee Weathers ; sisters and brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gaston Hospice, P.O.
