Thelma Delores Short, 83, of Dallas passed away January 30, 2019 at her residence.
She was born August 10, 1935 in Cherokee County the daughter of the late George Hardy White and Matilda Swanson White.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald, Daniel, Johnny and Bobby Gosnell; daughters, Sheila Chastain, Cathy Stacey and Joyce Cody; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Short and Rubel Gosnell, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday 1 – 2 pm at the Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
