Thelma F. Rhyne

Thelma Ferguson Rhyne, 92, of Dallas, passed away June 25, 2012 at Kindred Care & Rehab.,Gastonia. She was born December 22, 1919 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Zeb and Myrtle Jones Ferguson. Mrs. Rhyne was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Friday at Love Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. George Quick. The family will receive friends 9:30 - 11 am prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia. She is survived by: a son, Barry Rhyne and wife, Karen of Dallas; brothers, James Ferguson of Dallas, Blain Ferguson of Gastonia; sister, Mildred Moore of Gastonia; grandchildren, Beth Rhyne Keesler, Kelly Rhyne, Kevin Rhyne, David Rhyne; great grandchildren, Sara Keesler, Kelly Rhyne, Brittany Rhyne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband of 60 years, Fred W. Rhyne; brother, Blair Ferguson. Memorials may be made to Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave., Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
