Thelma Carpenter

Thelma Rebecca Carpenter, 78, of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at White Oak Manor North Grove in Spartanburg, SC.

She was born on October 16, 1942, in Gaston County, to the late Robert and Thelma Glover Carpenter.

Thelma was a faithful church member and an extremely hard worker.

In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Jackie Carpenter; sister, Elizabeth Anne Howell; and nephew, Ricky Hunter.

Left to cherish Thelma's memories are her niece, Sandy Hunter; nephews, Chip (Mary) and Tommy Howell; great nieces and nephews, Taylor Hunter, Jessica, David, Avery and Eli Mathis and Kristen, Aaron, Kylee, Raelynn, Wyatt, and Waverly Fields.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Clover Liberty Pentecostal – 1045 N. Main St., Clover, SC 29710

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is assisting the family.
