Terry Stacey

Terry Stacey, 62, of Gastonia, passed away June 12, 2016 at the Brian Center in Gastonia. He was born, a native of Gaston County on December 13, 1953, the son of the late Mack Long Stacey and Barbara JoAnn Medford Stacey. Terry enjoyed watching old shows and listening to music.  He was a retired painter for Charlotte Paint Company.  He loved his family and will be dearly missed.  The family would like to say a special thank you to the Brian Center and Catawba Regional Hospice for their special care. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Nakia Stacey; brothers Donnie Stacey and wife Brenda, Shawn Stacey and wife Terri; sisters Cynthia Auten, Tammy Thompson, Lynn Howard and husband Wayne and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Kim Goude. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the South Chapel of Greene funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, with the Rev. Charles Ledford officiating. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
