Terry Miller

Terry Miller, 66, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Atrium Health Main, Charlotte.

He was born February 27, 1957, in Pensacola, FL, son of the late Bert and Pat Miller.

He began his ministry as a children's and youth pastor in Florida. He traveled through the Southeast for many years as a children's evangelist. He was previously the children's pastor at 1st Assembly of God, Gastonia. He also loved his time as a counselor for church camps. He enjoyed to people watch, loved going to Pensacola beach and Tennessee mountains, was an avid FSU fan, and a foodie. He was everyone's social director, and always had good recommendations. He loved spending time with his grandson, and he loved his girls dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverley Odom; and grandson, Harrison Grindstaff.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of over 42 years, Martha "Marty" Miller; daughter, Jessica Grindstaff (Brett), and Allison Brooks (Josh); and grandson, Lucas Grindstaff

A celebration of life service officiated by Pastors Dennis Boyce, and Lamar Creel, will be held 6pm, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 1st Assembly of God - 777 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
