Terry Wayne Fields, Sr.

Terry Wayne Fields,Sr. 56, of Gastonia, NC passed away Sunday, December 29th, at his residence. He was born, native of Gaston county October 2, 1957 to the late, William David Fields and Clara Cable. Terry was a loving daddy who was a very good mentor to his children, an avid Nascar Fan, loved to garden and enjoyed life to the fullest. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Visitation will be 3:00 - 3:45 prior to the service at the chapel. Terry is survived by his loving companion of 30 years, Betty Hooper, sons; Terry Wayne Fields, Jr., Steve Willis and wife Heather and Kenny Willis; daughters, Terra Eakers and husband, Jeffrey, Shannon Fields, Michelle Willis; brothers, David Fields and wife, Carol, Jimmy Cable and wife, Diane, Tony Cable and wife, Jenna, Jeff Cable and wife Lee Ann; sister, Debbie Johns; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Fields and sister, Janice Fields. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice- PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
