Terry Diaz

Terry Ballard Diaz, 54, of Bessemer City, passed away on December 7, 2018, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1964, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Tommy Ballard and the late Patricia Huffstetler Ballard.
Terry was a loving mother and grandmother and was a lady of strong character and deep inner strength.
She worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Minister Jack Starkel.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
In addition to her father, Tommy Ballard, Terry is survived by her loving daughter, Shanise Lewis; daughter-in-law, Katherine K.T. Lindsey; niece, Katherine Ferry; husband, Senen Diaz; sons, Jose and Marlon Diaz; grandchildren, Marlon Diaz Perez, Genesis Diaz, Keisy Diaz, Amy Pedroza, Babie, Boomer, Peanutbutter, Bear.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by brother, Michael Ballard; sister, Debra Ballard.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
