Terry Cole

Terry Cole, 62, of Bessemer City, passed away on January 24, 2022, at his home, after he had fought a long battle with cancer for many years. He was a fighter.

He was born February 1, 1959, in Gaston County, son of the late Jack Wayne Cole and Mary Hicks Cole.

Terry was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother and pop pop and was deeply devoted to his family and all of his friends. And in his own words, he was oh so "cute".

He enjoyed going to Florida and spending time with his aunt and uncle.

He was employed with Freightliner and served as a union representative for many years. He also had worked with Max Baxter Roofing.

He loved cook outs, the Atlanta Braves and being a baseball coach.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Tami Cole; son, Aaron Cole (Jesi); daughter, Shea Wallace (Ron); grandchildren, Jordan Owens, Aubrey and Nia Cole, Scotty Limbaugh, Ryan Wallace, Brody Cureton; sister, Tammy Minton (Keith); brother, Tony Cole (Daisy); nieces, Brittany, Christy, Crystal, Nicole; special aunt, Linda Jean Burnett (Herman); and Bella, his fur baby and loyal friend.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by brother, Todd Cole; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gail and Larry Myers.
