Terrie Alison Bailey

Terrell Alison Bailey, born July 2, 1961, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 63 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC.

Terrie was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Robinson; her father, Edward S. Bailey; and her mother, Vivian Gwynne Bailey.

Terrie is beloved and survived by brothers, Mike Bailey of Baltimore, MD and his family, and Edward Bailey of Ashburn, VA and his family; sister-in-law, Annette Robinson; brother-in-law, Edgar C. Robinson, III; stepdaughter, Tonda Moore; and step granddaughter, Adrianna Foxx.

Terrie and Tracy shared a love for NASCAR and spent countless cherished summer days on the porch, enjoying the simple joys of life. Terrie had an open heart and home, always welcoming friends and offering care and kindness to homeless animals in need.

Terrie devoted over 20 years to the Mecklenburg Boy Scouts of America, where she played a key role in supporting fundraising efforts for 140 scouting units. Her dedication helped raise over $1 million annually for four consecutive years, leaving a lasting legacy within the organization and her community.

Terrie will be sorely missed by her family, including her cherished nieces and nephews, as well as her friends and the many lives she touched through her work and kindness.

A memorial gathering will be held on 2:00pm-4:00pm, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wendover Hospice House or a local animal shelter in her memory.
