Terri Chapman Tate

Terri Chapman Tate, 52, of Bessemer City, passed away on September 10, 2021.

She was born on July 21, 1969, in Gaston County, NC to Richard Chapman and the late Patricia Chapman.

Terri attended Bessemer City High School and worked in the textile industry as well as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her residents, going to the beach, and cooking.

Terri is survived by her father Richard Chapman; sons Brent Tate (Logan Tate) and Billy "Petie" Tate; sisters Diane Chapman (Ricky Watkins), Tammy Chapman (Christopher "Geno" Waldroup), Wendy Bradshaw (Jeff Bradshaw); grand-children Brenna Tate and Gavin Tate; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Chapman and her beloved dog Copper.

The family will receive friends at 2 - 3 pm on Sunday, September 19 ^th , at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

A graveside service will be held 3:30 pm Sunday September 19, 2021, at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Scott Rudisill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Drive, Gastonia, NC 28052.
