Teressa Gardner

Teressa Diane Gardner, 60, of Gastonia, passed away July 20, 2013 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. A Gaston County native, she was born May 12, 1953. Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her father, Billy Drum and three grandchildren. Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who dearly loved her family. She is survived by her husband of over 41 years, Rev. Danny Gardner; mother and stepfather, Edith and Earl Mincy; daughters, DeeAna Tate, Kristien Heffner, and Danielle Gardner; brothers, Ricky and Douglas Drum; sister, JoAnn Penner; and grandchildren, Lucas, Christian, Grayson, and Thomas Tate, Makayla and Brandon Heafner, Kyler and Addison Bolton; Hailey and Mallory Skidmore. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Monday, July 22, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gene Ware, will be held 2 pm Tuesday, July 23, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum.
