Teresia "Candy" Fetherston Calhoun

Teresia "Candy" Featherston Calhoun, 61, of Bessemer City, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2015.
Mrs. Calhoun was a native of Gaston County and was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Candy was a loving wife and mother to her family. Her grace, strength, and love of God touched everyone she met.
A celebration of Mrs. Calhoun's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday , December 17, 2015, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Bessemer City, officiated by the Rev. Connie Connely.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Inurnment will be private.
Mrs. Calhoun is survived by father, Johnny Bryan Featherston; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Amy Brandon of Gastonia; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Brian Smith of Bessemer City; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Heather and Matt Ormsby of Stanley; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny Bryan Featherston Jr. and Tammy ; sister, Diane Camp; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Kenny Quinn, all of Gastonia.
She was preceded in death by husband, Billy James Calhoun and mother, Betty Jo Grant Featherston.
