Teresa Faye Stewart

Teresa Faye Stewart, 65, of Bessemer City went home to be with her Lord on April 30, 2024.

She was born December 9, 1958, in Gaston County, daughter of Linda Gilleland Stewart and the late Forest Clayton Stewart Sr.

Teresa was raised going to Holland Memorial Baptist Church.

She worked at R&H Superette for over 22 years, and she also had worked for the Gaston County Schools.

She enjoyed fishing and collecting guns among other hobbies.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2024, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Thomas Hovis.

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

The burial will be at Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia.

Teresa is survived by her loving mother, Linda Gilleland Stewart; brother, Forest C. Stewart Jr. and wife Ladena; sisters, Sherry Stewart Dellinger and Donna Stewart Mitchem; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her father, Teresa was preceded in death by her dear friend, Cheryl Shaver; brother-in-law, Bobby Dellinger.

The West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Stewart family.
