Teresa Elaine Palmer

Terri Palmer, 69, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at her residence.

She was born in Spencer Mountain on December 19, 1955, to James McGee and the late Joyce McGee.

Terri was a care giver to many children through the years. She loved working in healthcare, especially her years in pediatrics. Her hobbies included beachcombing and birdwatching, which brought her serenity. Terri cherished life's uncomplicated moments. She consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, always striving for excellence. Her love for God and family was deeply ingrained.

Terri is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jerry Palmer; daughters, Melody Robinson (James), Jamie Teague (Brian); grandchildren, Archer, Alyssa, Ella Robinson; sister, Jackie McGinnis; brother, Bobby McGee; and her nieces.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 4:00 – 5:30 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.

At Terri's request, a Celebration of Life will be held at her home later this Spring.
