Teresa Demoss

Teresa Brewer DeMoss was born November 23, 1959, in Dallas, Texas to the late Richard Arlen Edwards and Lynn Robinson Brewer.

Teresa joined her Lord and Savior peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at her home in Dallas, North Carolina.

Teresa was a family person, there is nothing she would not do for anyone. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her girls and trips to Ohio with her husband to visit family. She also loved sitting around the house watching Charles Stanley, Judge Judy, Forensic Files, and Lifetime with her dog Emmy close by. Teresa will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but she is safely in the hands of Jesus.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband John DeMoss of 24 years, Mother Lynn Brewer, Bill Brewer, Robert Paxton, mother-in-law Esther DeMoss. Her Son Matthew Berry and two daughters Heather Propst (Landon) and Katie Mitchem (Kyle), Stepsons John and Dennis DeMoss. Granddaughters Emily Duncan (Andrew) and Gwyneth Berry, and her sweet fur-baby Emmy.

Teresa was preceded in death by her birth father Richard Arlen Edwards, adopted Father Benjamin Brewer, brother Steve Paxton, and father-in-law Richard DeMoss.

A service to celebrate the life of Teresa officiated by Justin Driver will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 6:00pm at Hardin Community Baptist Church in Dallas, NC. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:30pm.
