Ted Quinton Mayes

Ted Quinton Mayes, 49, of Shelby passed away on July 21, 2013. He was born January 17, 1964 in Cleveland County, son of William Van Mayes and Brenda Walker Mayes. Mr. Mayes was a member of Love Valley Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Love Valley Baptist Church, Kings Mountain officiated by Pastor Barry Philbeck and Rev. Keith Linzy. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church In addition to his parents he is survived by: wife, Helen Wilson Mayes; daughters, Cadie Capps, Jade Mullinax and husband Kenneth; stepdaughter, Brandy Myers; stepsons, Danny Biddix, Anthony Wilson; brothers, Jason and Darrell Mayes; sister, Paula Taylor; grandchildren, Grace Lyn, Luke, Hayden, Alyssa, Allandria, Ethane, Logan and Kailan.
