Ted Jennings Huffstetler

Ted Jennings Huffstetler, 86, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Stanley Total Living Center, Stanley, NC.

He was born April 30, 1938, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Clyde and Thelma Huffstetler.

Ted was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was proud of his educational accomplishments; he attended UNC from 1957-1960. He loved Cramerton, his father ran Cramerton Freezer Locker and then Ted ran the company for many years. Ted was the administrator at Stanley Total Living Center, and was in the Air National Guard Reserves for several years. In addition to the Stanley Living Center, he worked with many nursing homes in many different areas. Ted was of the Presbyterian Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Sandra Smith Huffstetler; sons, David Huffstetler (Pam) of Greenville, SC, Jeff Huffstetler (Marla) of Gastonia, NC; daughter, Jennifer Huffstetler; sister, Bobby Huffstetler Myers; grandchildren, Josh Roman, Rhys McIntyre of FL, Olivia Huffstetler, and Alex (A.J) Huffstetler; and great-granddaughter, Copeland Roman of Rock Hill, SC.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.
