It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving daughter and granddaughter Taylor NaCole Willis, who left us far too soon on July 26, 2025, at the loving age of 23. She was born on June 28, 2002, to April and Steven Willis in Gastonia, North Carolina. Taylor brought an unyielding spirit and bubbly personality into the lives of everyone that knew her and to her sisters Katelynn and Payton Willis.
She was more than a wonderful mother to her two daughters Addyson and Brynlyn Holmes. She would support them through thick and thin. She radiated positivity, with a sassy attitude that always brought a smile to everyone around her.
Taylor was known for love of crafts and board games, love riding her two favorite rides at Carowinds which was the Fury 325 and Copperhead; she loved creating joyful memories with her cousin Kamron Wood "Bubby", many friends and family. She also had a passion for cooking, often treating loved ones to delicious meals made from the heart.
In her professional life, Taylor worked as a manager in the deli industry, where her vibrant personality and leadership made a lasting impact.
Taylor is survived by her loving mother April Wills, sisters Katelynn Willis, Payton Willis, and Katie Bunch. Taylor is also survived by her grandparents Diane and Roger Wood and Linda Willis. She also survived by many family and friends that loved her dearly.
Taylor is preceded in death by her dad Steven Willis, her grandfather David Willis, her uncle Scott Willis, a cousin Christopher Willis, daughter Addyson Homles, daughter Brynlyn Holmes, cousin Kamron Wood, and her great grandparents on both mom and dad side, and her kids father Jake Holmes.
You will be forever missed and loved, Taylor. Your spirit will live on in all of the lives you have touched in your 23 years of life.
In lieu of flower, the family kindly requests be made to the Levine Children Hospital.
Visitation will be held 6:00pm-10:00pm, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at First Assembly of God, Gastonia. Celebration of life service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, at the church.
