Tara Martin

Tara Martin, 29, of Kings Mountain, passed away April 16, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born April 22, 1993, in Gaston County, daughter of Phillip Martin and Monica Black Casanave.

Tara loved her children, parents and grandparents. She was a very generous and kindhearted person.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Tara's life will be held 5-7 pm Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia.

Tara is survived by her father, Phillip Martin; her mother, Monica Casanave and husband, Phil; sons, Bentley and Lincoln Pruitt; daughter, Arihana Pruitt; sisters, Megan Riley, Megan Abernathy; grandmothers, Margaret Black, Pat Martin; aunts, Clarissa Black (R.C.), Sandy Martin; uncle, Tony Martin; cousins, Leah and Curtis Martin, Matthew Cobb (Madison); several nieces and nephews.

Tara was preceded in death by her children, Steven and James Martin; grandfathers, Steve Wayne Black, James Martin; aunts, Alice Brown, Amanda McDaniel; uncle, Jimmy Philbeck.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
