Tammy L. Armstrong

Tammy Lorraine Armstrong, 53, of Dallas, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born October 5, 1962, in Gaston County, daughter of Thomas Truesdale and Carole Ledford Newton, and step father Paul Newton.

Along with her parents, left to cherish her memories are her husband of 21 years, Richard Douglas Armstrong; son, Brian Armstrong and fiancée, Ashley; daughters, Jessica Burch and husband, Bryan, Brittany Armstrong; brothers, Tim Truesdale, Roy Newton Jr; and sisters, Cheri Greene and Nikki Gonzalez and their families.

A funeral service will be held 11am on Tuesday at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, 716 Camp Rotary Rd, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Overton.

The family will receive friends 9:30-11am before the service at the church.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
