Tammy Dover Adams

Tammy Dover Adams, 57, of Lawndale, NC, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her residence.

She was born in York County, South Carolina on January 30, 1967, to the late A.W. Dover  and Mary Frances Farris.

Tammy loved her family, shopping, and watching television.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dean Owens; stepdaughter, Jessica Owens; brother Wayne Dover; brothers in law, Ralph Philbeck and Donald Peak.

Tammy is survived by her son, Joshua dover (Nancy); daughters, Pam Adams (Heather McCurry), Ashley Adams, Amber Perdue (J.D.); stepsons, Erick Owens (Beck), Danny Owens (Samantha), Randy Owens; stepdaughter, Amanda Owens; brother, Tommy Dover (Starr Kyle); sisters, Teresa Farris (Joey), Darlene Philbeck, Edna Peak, Wanda VanDyke, Mary Ann Reyes (Jose); seventeen grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor George Langley will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, 4:00 PM, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1326 E. Cedar Ave. Gastonia, NC. A visitation will follow the service at the church.
