Tamey Pilkington Ball

Gastonia, NC Tamey Pilkington Ball, 54, of Gastonia, passed away February 5, 2013, at her home. She was born November 2, 1958 in Gaston County, daughter of the late B.L. and Hazel Sorrells Pilkington. Tamey was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Gastonia. A funeral service will be held 3 pm on Sunday at Zion Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Leo Kuykendall. The family will receive friends 6-8 on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. She is survived by: her husband of 31 years, Ronnie Ball of the home; brothers and sisters in-law, Gary and Joyce Pilkington of Bessemer City, Jerry and Yong Pilkington of Virginia; sisters and brother in-law, Donna Huffman of Dallas, Rhonda and Mike Campbell of Stanley; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her brother, Roger Pilkington; sisters, Shirley Pilkington, Gail Sorrells.
