Taltha Cooke

Taltha Cooke, 64, of Gastonia, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on April 25, 1956, in Gaston County, NC, the daughter of Shelba Jean Bailey.

Taltha attended Revolution Church, Gastonia. She loved, and was loved by everyone. She was a very loving mother and devoted fiancée. More than a sister, and a very loving daughter.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Cooke and brother, Scott Woodie.

Left to cherish Taltha's memories are her mother, Shelba Bailey; fiancé, Bruce Shepherd; sons, R. David Cooke, and Michael Cooke and fiancée Cortney Huffstetler; sisters, Bobbie Shepherd and husband Danny, and Patricia Owens; and grandchildren, Addielynn Cooke, Kennedi Cooke, and Lucas Kane Cooke.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the home of Bobbie Shepherd. Those wishing to attend may contact a family member for the address.
