Sylvia Bridges Hamrick

Sylvia Bridges Hamrick 70, of Kings Mountain left this world on January 25 ^th , 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She lived a quiet, private life. Enjoying simple pleasures like planting beautiful flowers, feeding the birds, collecting the things she loved and sitting on her porch enjoying her country life.

She retired from Southern Bell/AT&T after 30 years.

Proceeded in death by husband Lawrence Reid Hamrick, parents John Raymond and Alma Tate Bridges, brother John Bridges

She leaves behind daughter Yvette Moten, (spouse Craig); stepdaughter Jodie Walker; stepson Rocky Hamrick (spouse Misty); grandchildren Clint Brown, Bianca and Kiwi Moten, Maggie and Dalton Walker, Megan and Reid Hamrick; brother Andy Bridges (spouse Kim)

A private ash scattering ceremony will be held at a later date.

Plant flowers in the spring for me, through forest and valley, for like them I am always with you. And the birds will share in the bounty of seeds and give you joy in your leisure.  See me in the beauty of each bloom and feather. YWM 1/25/22
