Our loving matriarch, Suzanne, slipped from her earthly bonds on February 22nd and rejoined her mother Dorothy Spencer, father, Joe Carroll Spencer, brother Robin Spencer, her beloved grandmothers "Ma" Spencer and Geneva Bridges, father- in- law Marvin Treece, and countless loved friends and family that preceded her. She drifted away professing her love for her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and friends and was surrounded by love and deep heartfelt grief during the final moments of her journey.
Suzanne was a deeply caring person, honest, kind, and loving. She was the epitome of being a lady. Gold a poorer standard not fit to measure the quality of her heart, one of the purest souls God ever saw fit to bestow upon His creation. She was a guardian of all children and would quickly step in to help any child in need without hesitation or thought of consequence for herself at any moment when she would see neglect or injustice occur. Her compassion was freely given always.
Suzanne was a devoted wife of 39 years, unsurpassable mother, loving daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend tried and true to many. There were none like her before, there will be none like her after. This world is left wanting without her absolute grace.
Suzanne enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, planting flowers, antique malls, watching old movies and TV shows such as I Love Lucy and Alfred Hitchcock, and reminiscing about old times.
Suzanne worked at the Firehouse Fish-N-Fixins for 20 years where she got to know many in the community. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Hunter Huss class of 1975.
Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rickey Treece; son Brandon Treece and his wife Londy; son Ritchie Treece; stepdaughter Wanda Kane and her husband John; stepson Curtis Treece and his fiancée ,Tamara; grandchildren Lylian Treece, Ezra Treece, Alice Treece, Gannon Day, Colden Kane, Eli Kane, Aria Treece; brother Freddie Spencer; mother-in-law, Gaynell Treece.
