Susie Smith

Susie Smith, 53, of Dallas, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, she was born November 8, 1967, daughter of the late Alvin and Shelby Smith.

Susie loved everyone…including the "unlovable".

She shared all she had and loved every one of her 12 grandchildren.

She dearly missed her momma for the past 22 years.

Now they are reunited.

Left to cherish her memories are her life-long partner, Michael Holden; daughters, Samantha Flowers and husband Brandon, Candi Moore; brothers, Marty Smith and wife Amy, Shawn Smith, Shane Deal; sisters, Tammy Farmer and husband Eddie, Wendy Smith; aunt, Judy Chumney; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, June 28, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
