Susan Claire Stewart

Susan Scott Stewart of Clover SC, passed away peacefully March 29th, surrounded by her family and friends.

Susan was Born in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late James and Elsie Scott. She was the wife of the late Jim Stewart, who recently passed away in October of 2025. Susan and Jim were married for 55 years. She was a loving, dedicated wife and mother that devoted her life to caring for her husband and others.

Susan owned her own cleaning business for several years. She took pride in cleaning and enjoyed all her customers that quickly became her dear friends. She was also an animal lover. She took her dog, Colton, everywhere and they looked after each other. Colton now resides with her daughter, Jena, and is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings.

Susan is survived by her daughter Jena Stewart Jenkins, son-in-law Trey Jenkins, and Grandson, Tucker Jenkins of Belmont North Carolina; Son, Jim D. Stewart of Gastonia, NC; Granddaughters Tori and Kati Stewart, grandson Ryan Stewart, all of Clover South Carolina.

Susan also left behind one of her very best friends, B.J. Dobbins of Gastonia NC. BJ never left her side at the end.

Reverand Mark Forbes will perform the service taking place Friday, April 3rd at Living Hope Church of Belmont located at 901 E. Catawba Street, Belmont, NC.

The receiving of friends will begin in the sanctuary from 10-10:45. The service will soon follow at 11:00.
