Susan Elizabeth Sheridan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Sheridan, who left us peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on November 9, 1948, in New York, to the late John and Sophie Sheridan. Susan was a beloved soul who found her way to Gastonia, North Carolina, where she made her home.

Susan was known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. As a devoted homemaker, she poured her love into her family and friends, creating a warm and welcoming environment. She had a passion for dancing that lit up any room, often found enjoying the rhythm and simply having a good time. One of her favorite pastimes was venturing to the horse races, where she delighted in the thrill of the event and the camaraderie it brought.

Susan is survived by her cherished companion, Tom Zarella and niece , Kelly Houghton, who will carry on her memory with love and laughter.

Rest easy, Susan. You will be missed more than words can express.
