Susan Renee Lowery

Susan Renee Lowery, 68, of Gastonia, passed away June 17, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born on March 18, 1950, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late George William Darnell and Betty Kale Darnell.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 33 years, Billy Lowery; daughters, Jenny Burgan and husband Jacky Burgan Sr., and Katherine Renee Lowery and fiancé Daniel Knorr; son, Joseph "Dirk" Lowery and wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Angeles and husband Jonathan; Jacky Brandon Burgan Jr. and Javontae "Spank" Lowery; great-grandchildren, Charlie Ryan Angeles and Adrian Jonathan Angeles; aunts, Linda Helms and Norma Brown; and uncle Dan Kale.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
